I’m a big “car guy” so here’s a fitting analogy...

There are a handful of effective ways to combat nighttime cortisol.
One that you can tackle tonight is your exposure to blue light.
Blue light is basically the light that emits from your cell phone, tablet, or computer screen.
Research from Harvard University shows blue light can raise nighttime cortisol levels if looked at within the last 2 hours before you go to bed.[68]
Blue light triggers a stress response in your brain…[69]
That tells your body to produce more cortisol.
And that cortisol spike can last for hours through the night... make it difficult to fall asleep... and cause shallow sleep that inhibits your t-boosting potential.
Now the fix for this is pretty simple...

Even following certain diets can increase nighttime cortisol production.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that keeping cortisol low can be really hard.
And it makes getting deep, anabolic sleep much more difficult...
